Custom Audio Visual Specialists can design and install a home entertainment system based on your requirements and budget. A system generally combines and distributes audio and video signals from a central source to multiple points. Systems vary massively in cost so it is best to have an idea of budget before you begin. Some companies will only deal with systems up to £50k some over £250k !!.
For smaller systems you can deal directly with the dealer/installer. Top end systems will usually involve an architect or interior designer. Some installers work in conjunction with electricians who can install the necessary first fix cabling.
CEDIA (Custom electronic design and installation association) is the international trade association for custom installation companies and they work alongside manufactures and distributors to offer training for their members. Cedia members work with architects, builders, interior designers at with new build or refurbishment stage. Some companies elect to become members although this is no real reflection on the quality of the company you will be dealing with. We advise you to ask for references and if possible see an example of an installation.
