ounts are generally installed on flat roofs where fixing holes cannot be made to bolt a standard tripod or patio mount. They are generally used with larger dishes 80cm and above and come with 2" or 3" pole around 3ft tall. 60cm concrete blocks are used to weight down the mounts. There are very large non penetrating roof mounts for dishes 1.8m and over that are weighted down with high density blocks.
