The TechniSat group of companies develops and produces consumer electronics products as well as information technology products - all in Germany. Since its foundation in 1987, the group has been among the leading suppliers of satellite reception products as well as of digital technology products in Germany and Europe.

With the expansion of the product range to include LCD and cathode tube television sets, car radios and navigation equipment, as well as Internet PC products, TechniSat now supplies a full range of products. TechniSat products are „Made in Germany“ and stand for the highest quality possible. The innovative products are developed at the research and development centre at TechniSat Digital in Dresden. Production takes place at three locations: TechniSat Elektronik Thüringen GmbH (Dippach/ Eisenach), TechniSat Vogtland GmbH (Schöneck) and TechniSat Teledigital GmbH (Staßfurt). Distribution is effected via authorised TechniSat retailers. The TechniSat service and distribution centres support more than 10.000 retailers all over Germany and Europe.

TechniSat Digital S.A., based in Luxembourg, is responsible for worldwide exports of TechniSat products. Activities for Eastern Europe are co-ordinated in Berlin.
